Pet's Bio (What makes your dog unique, and why does your pit bull means so much to you?)
Sapphire had a rough start at life, becoming partially paralyzed just before her 1st birthday. She developed an infection that affected her spinal cord, and was rendered unable to walk, and became completely incontinent. Sapphire underwent an intensive spinal surgery, and was enrolled in physical therapy for 2 years. She even had custom braces made for her back legs! Over time Sapphire has re-learned how to walk, run, and even jump! She’s able to roughhouse with her sister Ruby, and is now living her best life! While in the house Sapphire still needs to wear doggie diapers, but of course she only rocks the fabulous, stylish prints! Sapphire is the light of our lives and has such an incredible spirit. She truly is a miracle pup!
