Some dogs experience extreme emotional neglect before they find a love. Meet Jerry, the perfect gentleman! Jerry is a 10 yr. English Toy Spaniel who never knew the stability of a loving family, until we took him in after he was ‘released’ by a breeder. Jerry is a retired Grand Champion show dog who brought fame and fortune to his people. He was shipped all over the United States to dog shows and shared his sperm with dozens of other breeders. Then, when the breeders squeezed every bit of money out of him, he was simply given away. As beautiful as this dog is, Jerry never knew a loving family. He was simply passed around until we took him in. We neutered him and gave him the medical care he deserved. He follows me EVERYWHERE! Jerry suffers from anxiety and stress induced seizures. I rarely leave his side, so I guess I have become his emotional support person. How can people be so cold as to not reward this sweetheart with a honorable retirement after all he did for them?
