Penny and her siblings were abandoned as puppies on the side of a mountain road in Kentucky. She spent the first 8 months of her life in a shelter where she shared a kennel with her sister because the shelter was so overcrowded. She was 1 week away from being euthanized when I adopted her. She loves walks around the park, carrots, cats, and other dogs. She will hopefully become a therapy dog and will go to work with me at a junior high school every day. There isn't a mean bone in her body despite her rough start in life, and her favorite person is her "grandpa" - she cries and gets the super wiggles whenever she sees him.
