Your Pet's Story or Bio
Hope is a 4yr old Tosa Inu (Japanese Mastiff) who was rescued from an illegal South Korean dog meat farm in November of 2015 by Humane Society International. She was relocated to the United States to the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria, VA, where we found and rescued her in July of 2017. Due to the poor conditions of the dog meat farm where she was raised, Hope had cranial cruciate ligament ruptures in both of her hind legs, which required corrective surgery. In the winter of 2017-2018 Hope underwent TPLO surgery in both of her hind legs and has since made a full recovery. Hope is now living a much more comfortable life as she experiences freedom and love, as all dogs should. She has captured our hearts with her big sad eyes, goofy personality, and playful nature.
