Your Pet's Story or Bio
I always wanted a Coonhound and adopted Wes from AWLA in December 2014. I surprised my family as they returned from a Florida vacation. Wes, with a bow around his neck, and I sat at the top of the stairs late on Christmas Eve. My two daughters saw Wes and shouted in joy, as they'd been clamoring to have a dog. My husband, a devoted cat dad, screamed, "Nooooo!"

Wesley Walker Wood has found a home with our family of four and menagerie of cats and fish (and dog!), and my husband and he now spend their days together. He is the sweetest pup and we're lucky to have him.
