How Much Is The Entry Fee?
- The entry fee is $10 per photo for entering your pet into the contest.
- You can make an additional donation during the entry process that will count as votes toward your submitted photo(s).
- All donations from photo submissions are non-refundable.
- All proceeds from the contest entries and votes will go directly to support Pets Helping People's vital programs and services.
How Many Photos Can I Enter?
- You can enter as many as you'd like in any or all of the three categories.
- Tiny Treasures (<20 lbs)
- Marvelous Mediums ( 21-50 lbs)
- Sizeable Sweethearts (>51 lbs)
How Much Does it Cost to Vote?
- Each vote will be $1 ($5 minimum for 5 votes). Each $1 donation counts as one vote for that photo. You may vote as often as you like.
- Due to electronic processing variables out of our control, voters should be cautious when applying votes during the final seconds of the contest.
- Lobby for votes! Once your pet has been submitted, share the link with your friends and family via social media, email and word of mouth.
- Get cash sponsorships! You can collect cash donations for your pet from friends, family, and acquaintances, then simply apply the amounts yourself, using your own login information and credit card. This is one of the easiest ways to get support, because you are collecting the funds directly and your supporters do not have to create their own account. Most people are happy to support Pets Helping People, and you can collect any amount—from $1 to $10,000!
The key to having your pet win? Share your entry with your friends, family and contacts – and encourage everyone to VOTE, VOTE, VOTE! Contest Period
- All online photo entries must be submitted by 9:00:00 PM (Central Time) on Monday, February 13, 2023.
How It Works
- Dog with the most votes will be the GRAND PRIZE winner.
- Votes will determine a First Place and Runner up in each of the three dog categories: Small (<20 lbs), (Medium (21-50 lbs), Large (>51 lbs). If there is a tie, the Contest committee will determine the winner and runner up.
- Winners will be announced on our website, Facebook and Instagram on Tuesday, February 14th at noon CST. Winners will be contacted by phone (first) or email (alternatively) by the announcement date.
- If the potential winner cannot be contacted within three (3) days after the date of the first attempt to contact him/her, the Sponsor may select an alternate potential winner in his/her place from the next non-winning, eligible top vote-getter.
- Pets Helping People is a 501(c)(3) organization.
- Donations are tax deductible.
- All donations are non-refundable.
- All donations will be used to help us provide pet therapy programs and services in order to meet the needs of people many with special needs in our community. We do not receive government support and rely on donations from our community and our modest training fees for the success of our programs.
