Short feline bio/rescue story
Alie has lived as a resident cat at Pet Pride for 15 years, and is famous for her "charming" cattitude that she shares with visitors and staff. She was the only girl in a litter of 5 kitties born in a Pet Pride foster home. She showed her outgoing cattitude from the beginning and most people are reluctant to get close when they see her because she isn't shy about maintaining her personal space with a swipe of her talons or a "love bite". This prompted people to give her the nickname Alie-gator.

For the longest time, Alie was minimally approachable and people avoided her at all costs. However, three years ago, she met her person (a Pet Pride volunteer) that changed her forever. She began to trust and finally, her tough exterior cattitude began to melt away and she started allowing some people to pet her and get close her. The trust built between Alie and her "mom" is remarkable and everyone has benefited from the change in cattitude (especially our veterinarian, Dr. Gluckman)!

Alie is a staff and visitor favorite, and has become grumpy cat famous on all of our social media platforms. She celebrated her 15th birthday on April 4th and her mom was able to place her much deserved birthday crown on her head without any resistance! Alie is really the Pet Pride queen!

Funny feline fact
Alie's meow sounds more like a frog croaking
