Pet's Story or Bio
Ralphie was an adopted 6 mos. puppy in 2004 from Guardian Angels rescue. I picked him the day after Christmas and he was so scared he hid behind the tree. First day I went back to work the extra large kennel was filled with fluid when I returned home, which was my 2nd clue of separation anxiety. He started out as a foster but I knew I had to keep him. Which wasn’t a hard choice, as he was entertaining. Seriously, he was a beagle and he use to sit on his dog house and howl, like snoppy! He had an amazing ability to open gates and break out of kennels. Once I came home and he tore up an army feather sleeping bag and it looked like 6 inches of snow in the room.

In 2010, my youngest son suddenly died. I would breakdown and cry in the kitchen floor and Ralphie would lay down beside me for as long as I was there. He rescued me.

He lived to be 15 years old. We were still walking on his last days. He died October 1, 2019. Though his anxiety was costly, the love he gave far outweighed the expense. My heart just melts when I think about him. But on that last day we knew it was time and that was the first words my vet said. I was so grateful to have been blessed with such a beautiful relationships I miss you Ralphie, my forever friend!
