On 1/10 Pet Haven took in Benjamin who had Paraphimosis - the inability to retract his "man parts".

On 2/7, he underwent surgery to correct this. There were unexpected complications and he started bleeding internally and was in excruciating pain.

On 2/14, he went through a second surgery to repair his skin, stop the bleeding, and remedy his pain. Benjamin had a small stroke after the surgery and underwent some neurological damage.

And then after a month of rehabilitation, Benjamin unexpectedly left us. We fought so hard to do right by him and, although we were all grief stricken, we also took comfort in knowing he was no longer in pain.

Benjamin's vet care ended up totaling $4,000. We could not have given Bennie top notch care without your support.
