Pet's Story or Bio
So often people are floored that rescue dogs aren't free. But it costs money to get animals up to date on vetting, and many of them come to us needing a lot of that due to medical neglect from their previous owner; Cheyenne was one of those. Her vet bills exceeded $1,000 and her adoption fee barely touched that. It's fundraisers like this, that help offset the difference.

We don't know for sure what Cheyenne suffered through before she was rescued but she has the trademarks of a puppy mill dog. What we do know, is this little nugget was a s-p-i-t-f--i-r-e. With other dogs she had a calm confidence that dared others to mess with her; no one did. Cheyenne enjoyed 11 months in the comfort of a home that loved her immensely before she passed away, but her legacy will live on forever. She was the best girl.
