Annie was rescued from a Puppy Mill December 2012. She spent the first eight years of her life kenneled and harnessed. When she came to her forever home she had no fur and couldn’t walk. She never learned what it was like to run, jump or play! She was over whelmed and timid of her new home. Every noise sent her into a panic of terror. She couldn’t trust anything or anyone! Fear was the only way of life she ever knew. She started to trust her new fur brothers and sisters but still remained anxious of people. Slowly, with the support of Pet Co, she started to come out the cloud of nervousness. With the right nutrition, socialization and LOTS of love her fur began to grow. In eight months she began to walk. Now she runs through the yard leaping over small rocks and rolling in the leaves. She loves being a dog!!
Annie goes to work with Mommy at Pet Co. once a week. She hid at first, but with the support of my Pet Co partners and loyal customers she slowly began to come out of her shell. She finally knew what it was like to not be terrified of life! She began to trust and feel safe. She greets everyone and there isn’t a dog she doesn’t like. She has even started to learn how to play with her forever pack…
