My family adopted Toby from a small rescue in Ohio. They told us that they rescue their dogs from a puppy mill owned by a local Amish farmer, and that if the puppies aren't sold by 5 weeks old, they are shot and killed. Needless to say, I'm so happy that they rescued Toby. He's playful and affectionate, and is always able to put a smile on our face or cuddle up next to us when we need it. I couldn't imagine life without him -let alone imagine how anyone would be willing to shoot him as a young pup. I'm very glad and thankful for the power of together; without it, I would not have Toby, and I would have a lot less happiness in my life.
