From what organization or individual was your pet adopted/rescued/purchasedA Cat Hoarder
How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?I have four lovely cats but this girl is unlike any of them.
Bitte' pronounced "Bi-tah", is an "Applehead" Seal Point Siamese who found me one night in October 2009' when she was only 6 mo. old when my Mom came in contact with an alleged cat hoarder who had to seek homes for her felines before Animal Control would soon take them. Unfortunately we only had means for one more after recently adopting my cat Danke' and this girl was the one to win her heart.
I was called into the room as they rose her up out of carrier, I heard her purrs and looked into her eyes for the first time, she then brought tears to mine. Loud were her vibrations as everyone welcomed her to her forever home; even my Danke' was accepting.
Nowadays, even though she's a bit feistier, Bitte' has learnt to fetch, catch, come and even kiss her human whenever they're feeling low- I call her my "cat/dog". She is the most nurturing cat I've ever met; she'll groom Danke', who is now sick, lull me to sleep and even slip under the covers whenever I'm cold. She is always learning and never ceases to amaze me. I truly feel she wants me to be happy and in return I wish to help other struggling animals to feel wanted and cherished.
Bitte's name means "Please" and that's what she strives for everyday which is why I believe she represents "Life is Better Together".
