The first time I ever laid eyes on April Sophia, she was just a tiny baby curled up on the floor of a truck......she looked up at me and literally smiled. Since that day she has been my constant companion, and one of the driving forces behind why I started Lake Charles Pit Bull Rescue. April will often take injured dogs under her wing and help them to learn love and self confidence. She is also a constant companion to my little girl, Phoenix. The first day I arrived home from having Phoenix, April ran right passed me and tried to climb into the playpen with Phoenix.... and when Phoenix couldn't remember that her birthday was in April....she would tell everyone that it was "puppy the 9th". April Sophia has been a blessing to my life in so many ways......and life is certainly better together with her. She completes our family.
