Callie(short for Calypso), the black dog in the photo was adopted, we found her online. She is a very"soft" dog, very sensitive and a bit fearful, but Riley protects her and seems to understand her. They are always together and love each other so much! This picture was taken over the winter. The house was cold and they were asleep on my bed. He is snuggling her! She can take a bone out of his mouth and he just lets her. It's as though he knows she had a rough start. If Callie misbehaves and I reprimand her , Riley will get in between us and push me away! I truly believe that Callie was meant to be with our family and with Riley. These two pups are such loves! They add so much to our lives and to each other.
