How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
Blossom (gray boy on left) and Mojo (black girl on right) were rescued by K9Kastle. They are a brother and sister duo dubbed the "dynamic duo" by K9Kastle because they were so bonded. The goal of the rescue was to keep them together even though it's often difficult to adopt cats in multiples. Especially with some people being "afraid" of black cats. Our intentions at first were to adopt a cat as a companion for a cat we had at home who had recently lost his brother to a tumor. We hadn't considered adopting multiple cats at the time since we already had one cat at home. But when we saw Blossom and Mojo at Petco how could we resist! You could clearly see their need to stay together. Mojo is very much the caretaker of her brother! These two have brought much fun and joy to our house! And 17+ year old Belly (our other cat) seems to even have a little more spring in his step with these youngsters around! So life is better for them together and life is better for our household with us ALL together! Two humans, three cats, and three parrots all under one crazy roof in NYC. Yeah... You read that right. :)
