Jasper joined our family just before I left for a 15 month deployment to Baghdad, Iraq in 2010. We rescued him from the Humane Society. Since my wife and I rescued him he has been an inseparable member of our family. He provides my wife with companionship when I am away on deployments. There is not a single day he is not waiting for me at the door when I get up in the morning or return from work. He is always ready to play, be scratched, be held, or simply just sit with you. Having Jasper in our family truly makes all our lives better.
