How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
Kiwi (below) was really shy as she and her sister were taken off of the streets at a few months old. Her sister was adopted out and I was able to adopt Kiwi. We made slow progress over the first week I had her, but when I was told her sister (Haven - above) was returned, I had to have her as well. Kiwi's trust in me sky rocketed as Haven, bolder and definitely trusted humans more, showed her the ropes that people weren't so bad! This picture is a month into having both of them and they, Kiwi especially, are far more confident and seem happier than ever before. They always sleep together, play together, and get into mischief together. Rather than sleeping alone, Kiwi either cuddles with her sister or with her sister and me! Her smile says it all: life is definitely better together.
