my chocolate lab is Zoey and my maltese poodle is Bizzers - they were given to us 12 and 11 years ago, and I do not remember from whom

It was love at first sight for our 2 dogs. When our lab, Zoey was a year old, we decided she needed a "buddy", so we got our little maltepoo, Bizzers. The two were inseparable for 11 years. Bizzers would not even go out the door unless he was accompanied by his faithful companion, Zoey. And in turn, when Bizzers had to be on the exam table at the vets office, it was Zoey who would jump up and try to nudge him off . . . Sadly last October our precious Zoey went for a walk with Bizzers, came back and shared an apple with him, and then just quietly went to heaven in her sleep with Bizzers right by her side. But our family is so happy for the 12 years that we were blessed to have her - no longer at our sides, but forever in our hearts
