Remy was rescued by ECHS from a severe abuse situation. Based on his temperament when he came to ECHS, one cannot imagine what horrible things this poor creature endured. It took 3 weeks for the wonderful staff at ECHS to earn his trust to even put a leash on him. He came to my house as a foster, and I had to employ the same patience and understanding to earn his trust. It also took about 3 weeks before he would even approach me, but I was completely smitten by him and adopted him as one of my own. That was 2 yrs ago, and you would never guess he was once a fearful, untrusting creature by his happy-go-lucky personality and his love for me and his other 7 canine brothers and sisters.
