How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?Charlie and his brother Abe were being given away by some people on the street in downtown Portland. When we got the kittens home and started to clean them up, we discovered Abe had something wrong with his hind quarters and Charlie had a broken tail. We took them to the vet the next day and Abe had a fractured pelvis, he needed to be kept quite and not handled too much. Charlie his brother was in better health. Almost three years later they are thriving and love to play and sleep together. They are so happy to have each other and we are so glad to have two very loving and playful cats.
We call Charlie the "Mighty Leaf Hunter". We find piles of leaves under the bed and couch. He has never caught a bird, or even a mouse, but loves to drop leaves at our feet. He is a cat that is full of quirky personality and makes us laugh almost every day. Our lives are enriched by our relationships with all our cats.
