How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together? After losing our beloved "Max" at 5 months old to a fatal kitty illness, we decided to help in the Foster kitten world. These 7 week old litter mates were dumped in a box at a rescue in Fresno, Ca and then transported to Santa Monica, Ca but arrived late due to the traffic from the L.A. Marathon. This brother/sister duo missed the weekend adoption frenzy and would have to wait until the following weekend. We took them home Sunday evening and anticipated just being "fosters" for the week.
By the 3rd day, we realized what a beautiful difference it was having two sibling kittens rather than just one. The way they play, sleep, eat, hide, explore, get into trouble ;-) groom each other - even at times using the litter box is together. Almost everything they do is together, especially napping.
Knowing that they might get separated and probably would, we decided to keep them both permanently to ensure they could continue with their sibling love together.
Life for our Stella and Maxwell is undoubtedly Better Together :-)
