Zala was purchased as a puppy from a breeder outside of Big Rapids, Michigan. Her long coat had been shaved on her right side by the breeder at the time and is still attempting to grow back, 2 years later. The shaved area has a more matted look and at times is nearly impossible to brush out. Zala has since become a more social animal, and spends her days romping through the house with her "brother" Max.
