Dempsey here found himself all alone in a shelter at the age of 9. After spending his whole life with the same family, an illness within the family sent Dempsey out of the only home he knew, and into a big stressful depression. He was a ball of nerves and lost 40lbs in two months. Due to his size and age, Dempsey had little chance of being adopted. But then something great happened. Thanks to the efforts of shelter workers, a veterinarian, and Lucky Pup Rescue all working together with one goal in mind, Dempsey was adopted, and as you can see by his picture , he is happy and thriving. Teamwork can accomplish many challenging goals.
