Belle was abandoned on a farm in a rural Virginia county at only 6 weeks old. The farm's owner found her a home with friends.

Belle is the 2013-2014 Richmond SPCA Mascot. On Saturday, March 15, she led more than 600 dogs and their families in the 12th Annual Dog Jog and 5K Run to help the Richmond SPCA raise essential funds to save the lives of homeless animals in our community. Belle and her guardian Katherine kicked off the 1-mile Dog Jog and stopped along the way to pose with another favorite mascot: Virginia Commonwealth University's Rodney the Ram! Together Rodney and Belle are wonderful advocates for pet adoption.
