How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
George represents the Power of Together because his life was saved through a collaboration with our local dog control agency. They rescued him from the streets with a broken leg. Donations from the public covered the repair of his leg and then Maumee Valley Save-A-Pet transferred him to their shelter for recuperation and eventual adoption. Together these two organizations and the generous animal lovers in our community gave George a second chance at life and a forever home. And as you can see in this photo George is doing his darnedest to get the attention of the volunteer working in the office because he definitely believes in the power of being together with his two-legged friends even if it means lending a paw with the "paperwork".
