Sadie and Sullivan are brother and sister and have been blind since birth. They were found in the middle of a busy street crossing together at 6 weeks old, skinny and sick with herpes. A Comcast Cable man stopped and grabbed them and took them to the local shelter. The Wayne NJ Animal Shelter took the time and spent the money to have their undeveloped eyes removed, and nursed them back to health.

They have been through a lot together and are never far apart. They don't snuggle together much anymore, but when one cries out in distress, the other comes running to help. The love sitting out on the porch and listening to the birds at the feeder, which is what they were doing here until I disturbed them.
