Raven was considered an "unadoptable." She spent two and a half years in a shelter and foster care -- apparently, people have no interest in one-eyed, black cats. But we did and we decided that she was the cat we needed in our lives. Raven wasn't exactly the most friendly when we brought her home, but we were more than willing to give her the time and space she needed; we knew there was a sweet girl underneath her tough exterior. Now, nearly three years later, she has blossomed into a wonderful, loving and happy part of our family and together, we're trying to prove that in most cases, the "unadoptables" aren't really that unadoptable, after all.
