My senior cat Smudge waited for 6 years to find a furry friend, becoming more and more sedentary and arthritic over time. That all changed when Sam came to our home as a 5 week old foster kitten. Now they can almost always be found playing chase, batting around toys, sharing a meal or sleeping together - one is not without the other.
