The Power of Together... this is "my boy" and myself - I thank him every single day for "picking me"!! We have a bond that cannot be broken - He looks to his "mama" for love shelter security food protection. He's my "son" ...pets are people too and since I never had any natural children of my own - this is the closest I will ever get to having a mother & son bond. I protect him with my life & I love him to the ends of the earth!!!! He's my "baby"!!! I adopted him in Feb 2006 & I had to apply to get him - it took 2 weeks to get confirmation that he was mine - I called nearly every single day & once I finally was able to take him home, I cried like a baby - I'm so blessed to have him. He & I have been thru thick & thin together & I can't possibly imagine how he ever ended up at a shelter to begin with because he's such a phenomenal sweet natured loving creature; but thank God our paths crossed. My life hasn't been the same since. Additionally, he was older when I got him - approx. 8yrs, he just turned 16yrs with me & I pray for many many more years to come with my baby!!
