How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?Bee was a dog that was left behind. She was stuck down south and unable to find someone that she could call her forever home. Years passed and she remained living outside being returned from one home after another. Then one day she got her golden ticket, a foster home opened and wanted to take her. Things were moving in the right way for once. Months passed while she lived in her foster home but still no forever home. Then we brought her to the vet for what we all thought was a simple eye inflammation. Sadly that wasn't the case, Bee had cancer. It was then her foster became her forever home, realizing her journey through rescue was meant for her to be with us. Her cancer was aggressive and Bee needed to have her eye removed to ensure her best chance for recovery. Months later Bee is thriving and thrilled she stayed in the foster that gave her a chance, that Chey from Double Dog advocated her rescue from down south, and for the people who cared for her while she was down south, Without the "power of together" and everyone coming together Bee would have died a sad, lonely death. The "power of together" saved Bee's life, blessed our lives with her and Double dog continues to use the "power of together" to continue to save more dogs just like Bee.
