Keane (dog) was adopted from Tender Care Animal Rescue in Vancouver, WA and Rascal (cat) was adopted from family when they moved to Hawaii.

How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
Although some might think of them as an unlikely pair, this matched set loves to spend their time cuddling in front of the fire, playing and sleeping together. Rascal was a barn cat adopted by my nephew as a kitten but was in need of a new home when his family was relocated. Then along came Keane who I adopted from a local rescue. Apparently, he was meant for another rescue group who, for some reason, did not take him. Lucky for us, Tender Care took him in and gave him love until we were able to meet. After months of looking for a dog to share our home, I knew right away that Keane was the one for us. We all came into each other's lives through different paths but are now one happy family together.
