How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
Jackie (the cat) was rescued twice over, once from the streets of a local trailer park and then from a hoarding situation. The person was well intention-ed, but had moved beyond their limited ability to properly care for the amount of cats they had attempted to "save". Tails High was brought in and took on as many of the cats as possible, one being Jackie. Jackie's multiple changes in her short life had left her a little sad and shy around humans. However during one of our Unleashed by Petco adoption events one of the employees took an interest in Jackie and her strikingly beautiful green eyes. She decided that after work she would bring her dog to see if they would get along--and the attraction was instant and mutual. A couple days after they got home she sent us this darling picture of them cuddled together on her bed. Jackie's new brother made her feel safe and sure that she was in the furever home she so desperately wanted.
