Meg was a breeding mother from a puppy mill in NY state. She was afraid of everything. She had never been outdoors, felt grass or dirt under her feet or sun or rain or wind on her back. But here she is enjoying a neighborhood parade in Boston, walking on a leash with me surrounded my other dogs and dog owners and having a good time and smiling! But her foster mother taught her to walk on a leash and I socialized her and taught her the joys of being outdoors and together every step of the way Meg became a real dog.
