How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
This photo was taken the day after my daughter adopted "Block." He had been at the shelter for over six months and was an animal cruelty case. A Pit Bull mix, he had been tied outside to a tree and had numerous scars from bites and infections that took time to heal. On adoption day, it was love at first sight for both of them. The following day we all drove three hours to visit the rest of our family and Block hopped in our car without hesitation and happily took part in a birthday celebration. After the party, this photo was taken as Block and his new mama took a nap. Since then, he has become an integral part of our family and his goofy personality and unconditional love seems to prove that the cruely and abuse is now a part of his past. He has brought so much joy into our home.
