How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?Wallace the Pomeranian was adopted after being found as a stray and running out of time in one shelter and a different rescue group. He has turned out to be the world's most loving dog, EXCEPT a snobby ambivalence toward other dogs. Despite this, I insist on fostering those in need, primarily senior dogs. Beau, one of those senior dogs, came to us weak, coughing, underweight, half-blind and half-deaf. Although Wallace threw his initial "just for show" temper tantrum when Beau first arrived, we had a travel period where they were separated for about a week. When they both came back home, Wallace forgot about his poofy little pride and was all wiggle-butt happy to see Beau. From that day until Beau was adopted, they'd often be found snuggling on one throw-size pillow together. Wallace seems drawn to the older and frailer foster pups - just another sign that his new hobby as a nursing home therapy dog is right up his alley!
