How does this photo represent the theme – Life is Better Together?
There were 4 puppies abandoned at the shelter gate. Two didn't make it. The others two, Blu and Azzuro remained in ROLDA care. Like the rest of the 700 dogs, they got good nutrition, best possible daily care, a little bit of training , extra hugs. Few months passed and they were sterilized, but first they were vaccinated and tested. Azzuro was lucky to be adopted in Austria before he was 1 year old while Blu, 2 years old boy is still waiting for his chance to learn what a home really means.
These two brothers live in different countries, miles away of each other, but they will always be connected by a special bond. They were rescue by the same hands of the same Romanian rescue team.
In 2013, over 600 dogs were helped the same way as Blu and Azzuro have been. Of course, miracles do not happen overnight. There are thousands of dogs that need, right in this moment, to be saved from death. Every rescue life is the proof of the "power of together" because no matter if rich or poor, no charity would exist without the input offered by its supporters. Together, we are stronger!
