Pet's Story
Bella was a starving chain dog, alongside her Mama in a TN back yard. Rescued by PAWS from the shelter, we adopted her in 2012. Honey Bee was witnessed by her rescuer being kicked (literally) out of a Memphis motel room. Since we added this fluff ball of energy to our family in 2023, she has survived both heart worm treatment and cancer removal, both funded by PAWS NE. While introducing a puppy to the family was rocky at first, our senior Bella has since bonded with her mischievous sissy and as you can see, embraced the mischief.
