Pet's Story
Missy was a southern transport dog, adopted from the Conway (NH) Humane Society at 8 months old. She's been living the good life ever since, in a historic home on the Kennebec River in Maine and at a ski house in Jackson, NH. She also travels all over the US and Canada with us in our motor home. Here she is on a beach in South Carolina, ears flying in the breeze, and wearing her trademark pittie smile. She's never met a person she didn't love and everyone remarks on her smile. At 11 years old, she can still run 8 miles through the snow on cross country trails, with me, hike mountains, swim in rivers and run on the beach. She's an ambassador for pittie mixes in particular and for shelter dogs in general. Just a happy All American Shelter Dog.
