Pet's Story or Bio
Throughout my husband and I’s relationship we always talked about our future pet- usually on car rides or brushing our teeth at night. The small everyday moments in life were missing 4 little paws. After getting engaged and moving to Texas we began searching for the best pet for us.

When we happened upon the Paws in Prison Program and Beanie, a 1.5 year old 45 pound Australian Cattle mix, we knew we found our missing piece.

‘Beanie Boy’ quickly became the light of our lives. He always has a smile on his face, enjoys hanging his head out the window in the car, chasing squirrels, and especially his dad. Beanie loves life and I believe this is because he knows he was saved by Paws in Prison. We always remind Beanie about his time in prison, his prison trainers and how he did a great job supporting them during their incarceration. As his Mom and Dad, we always strive to make Beanie happy whether it’s celebrating milestones, new toys or long, long walks!
