Pet's Story or Bio
Gabe the Great Wolfhound was born as a Kansas farm dog. He then went to a son of a friend of the farmer. At around 5 years of age the last owner was “moving and couldn’t take Gabe with his family”. I found his ad online, and went to see him. They informed us they were moving the next day and if we didn’t take him he was going to the shelter. Needless to say, he immediately became part of our family. We then had to move to GA, and would you know Gabe can travel! He rode patiently all the way and occasion stuck his head over the seat for a snack. He’s now a senior dog who can still run around like a puppy or nap like a baby, and is most of the time an angel as his name, Gabriel, implies.
