Flick wobbled into our yard (and our hearts) as a part of a feral colony we were TNRing (she wobbles because she has cerebellar hypoplasia). She wanted to be part of the colony, but they ignored her, which broke our hearts. She began spending every day and night curled up on our back step...and we finally realized that we had no choice - she'd chosen us. And we're thrilled she did. Our tiny grey cat with a heart-shaped "flick" of white on her chest "chirps" with love anytime she hears her name, and bounds to greet us the minute we're awake. She has her flaws (sticking her head into anything with whipped cream on it is one) but they're few and far between. We've heard people say "She's lucky you brought her in" but we know the truth ---we're the lucky ones. And we tell her that every day.
