Tammy was a long-time shelter cat. Her sense of security was rooted her cage. Intense fear could be seen in her behavior when introduced to the freedom of open or new spaces. It took much patience and many baby steps, but she is now like a natural cat, loving how the dandelions sway with the wind, the bugs flurrying about all around her, and rolling around in the cool morning grass. (She has been a part of my feline family since June 2013 and is about 7 years old.)
