A little about my photo...
Mischief and more mischief! At least, that's what we lowly humans see when watching raccoons eat and explore. Their little hands are so like our own, and they are so very smart. We had a mama raccoon who used to come around the house at might to eat food scraps I put out, and for some time brought her three kits with her, all perfectly marked "mini-mes" of their mom. It was fascinating to see them eat, sitting in a circle backs facing inward, faces outward, so they could see what might approach from every direction.
