I am a Pasadena Humane Alumni!

A little about me...
My name is Maggie, however, I was called Miss Miracle as a puppy when I first arrived at The Humane Society. Let me explain, I was a two months old and became lost near corner of Huntington Dr. and Fremont in South Pasadena. I was not "street smart'" and was hit by a car that never stopped. My right rear leg was shattered, I had wounds all over my body and was left to die alone in the gutter.

My accident was seen by a Good Samaritan who took me to The Pasadena Humane Society for much needed medical care. Upon arrival I was so very scared and in such pain but they received me with much Love and kindness. After looking at my condition they sent me at once to a very special veterinarian hospital in Santa Ana where they repaired my broken leg with a steel plate and treated my many scrapes and wounds. They called me Miss Miracle because I endured so much pain and suffering and was just happy to be alive.

After two months of addition surgery and convalescent care I was made available for adoption. It was then I met my "Forever Family" Carol and Bob McCrary.
I am now seven years old and live with Carol and Bob and the wider McCrary family of dogs, seven in number. We have so much fun when we all get together.
I am now such a happy dog ,as you can see from my photo, and am forever indebted to the Humane Society for the love they gave me.
