A little about me...
I am Sidney, I turned 12 on May31st. People like to take pictures of me when I walk with my mom. Sometimes they sneak it in, but my mom is always happy to let me pose and says I am meant to be shared. I like to give people a hand lick, that gets me a treat. I know all the shops in Pasadena that give treats. My mom and I go to work together, she is a psychologist and I help her clients by sleeping through the sessions. 2023 was a tough year for me, I had spine surgery and lots of teeth removed. That happens to dachshunds they say, even though I brush my teeth and my house has ramps- luckily I recovered and can still prance around. I am my moms' first ever pet, she always says I was returned to a breeder. I was very shy and nervous around kids, my mom was determined. I taught her a lot about what I like and feel, and she gets me. People say dachshunds are stubborn, but my mom disagrees. Her friends tell her she is doing a great job and she tells them Sidney is the one teaching her. I speak several languages Dutch, German, English and my eyes do the rest. I am ready for a photoshoot...... pay me in treats.
