A little about me...
My name is Oliver. I know I’m cute, but I also make a difference in the community.

What was my name before? My first family was so sweet. Why did they leave me on a golf course? I didn’t run away from them. Maybe they lost their jobs or their apartment? Then a lady rescued me. Then my Pasadena family brought me here. I napped in the back seat of a car. I was almost one year old.

My specialty is barking – about so many things. My Pasadena family is quiet, but I always bark out what’s on my mind. I don’t like dogs with pointy ears. I’m not scared of anything. Well, maybe just trash trucks.

So here I am. I love people. Children are the best because it’s easy to lick their faces. I’m not allowed on the couch, but when you visit, can I get on your lap? I want to cheer up everyone – I mean the people, not the dogs. I wag my tail and greet anyone when I go for walks.

I volunteer at nursing homes and cuddle with the residents. Here’s the best thing: Some of them let me sit on the bed!

I am politically active. How? Well, I campaigned for two city council candidates. I carried a sign on my leash, and they both got elected.
