A little about me...
I met my new human online, after my beloved elderly owner passed away and I needed a new home. By then I was already an older cat, and clearly anxious and in grief the first time we met, but after a quick hiss to make clear I wasn’t going to take any nonsense, I happily sat on his lap and began to purr away. We became close friends almost immediately, as I showed how much love and vitality and sheer joie de vivre I still had.

About a half year ago, I was diagnosed with kidney disease, which of course was scary, but proved myself to be a total trooper, dealing with all the medical tests and daily sub-q fluids with impressive patience. Happily, I’m still doing well, and enjoying all life has to offer, in particular, cuddles with my Dad, and food with gravy. I’ve had so many great breaks, and send out purrs to all the other older cats out there who still have love to give.
