Doug came to me in an October blizzard after seeking shelter in a friendly human’s garage. By the holidays, Doug had bonded with Riptide, a GLPR rescue, and laid an egg. The two of them resided happily indoors and spend their days working on nest building and egg sitting. And, of course, cooing for sunflower seeds.
