The perfect pine needle is about to be plucked for the perfect pair of pigeons in my aviary! Pomelo (doing the plucking) works very hard to decorate his nest with his husbird, Puffles (doing the watching). While these big birds prefer sticks from my camphor tree, they're in no way picky about what material with which they choose to line their nesting box. Even though they're both males, they are deeply devoted to one another and will even take turns sitting on fake eggs together. These two are #couplegoals
